13.75 m [45.1′] flybridge power cat
The ‘Escape 13.6’ was designed as a family coastal cruiser. With a range of 800nm at 10 knots and 500nm at 19 knots (with reserve), she has the range to make extensive coastal cruises around New Zealand. With 210 Hp per side, she has been clocked at just under 25 knots! Initial sea trials have shown her to be very smooth running in head seas. Accommodation on the main deck includes the large galley, dining and an interior helm. There is a head with shower accessible from the aft deck. Either side of the Helm station stairs leads down to the hull accommodation. There are two full sized Queen berths forward and two king singles aft, with a head to port and shower to starboard. The boat has full headroom throughout which gives it a very spacious feel to the interior. The cockpit has seating across the back bulkhead and the dining table can be brought out for al-fresco dining. A shelf behind the aft bulkhead carries the tender while underway. From the cockpit, a ladder leads to the flybridge with more exterior seating and a storage area for two canoes above the cockpit.
See news section [14th July 2004] for ‘Escape’ fuel comparison. This demonstrates just how fuel efficient our power Catamaran designs are. With spiralling fuel prices, this becomes of paramount importance.
