22 m [72.2′] luxury motor yacht
A liveaboard power Catamaran whose main feature is that it has most of the accommodation contained on the one level. This approach to the accommodation on a catamaran has a number of advantages not the least of which is cost. This approach maximises the amount of interior space and also results in a very large upper deck This large upper deck has meant that a very comfortable seating area can be located here along with the jet ski, its crane and the radar arch with still plenty of room left over.
Construction is in foam & glass composite to DNV scantling requirements. The boat was designed using surface modelling software which enables CNC cutting files to be produced for every part of the boat. A “Smartpac” kitset can be supplied. This supplies all the glass and resin required. Many of the foam parts can be precut and patterns supplied for those that can’t. “How too” booklets covering such topics as strip plank foam construction, setting up the mould frames, vacuum bagging and resin infusion accompany the construction plans.
The interior consists of three luxury ensuite cabins and a “utility” cabin with a folding bed but still ensuite. The hulls are largely devoted to the engines and services but the port hull has crew quarters for two crew. The skipper has a cabin on the main deck forward of the galley.
The hulls are our usual extremely efficient CS high-speed displacement form with beaching skegs and protected propellers and rudders. The curved freeform wingdeck has a generous full load clearance of 1.1m [3.6′]
