The "Vorpal Blade" was the first of the larger craft I designed. It was intended to be a high performance cruiser for myself. The whole design was predicated around the difficulty of obtaining standing headroom, good wing deck clearance and performance in a catamaran of this size. So why try? The inboard sleeping pods had sitting headroom only and access to the foredeck was via the passageway so formed. In its original conception it was alloy cross beamed. A very advanced design for its day.
