The "Tiros" is an ocean going racing catamaran with some accommodation. There are double berths in the aft beam and provision for a generous galley and even a shower if you wish. In its basic form it is a low cost, easily built craft with a high performance potential that can be further increased with the use of more sophisticated lighter weight building techniques. It is particularly suited to races such as the Azores, ARC and the Villamoura.
