The "MK .I. Te Henga" proved the viability of the basic alloy beamed open wing cruising boat. The "MK.II". builds on this with a more modern cutter rig and further options in the area of construction; namely in the form of more closely spaced frame patterns for strip plank timber composite construction. A very simple and easy to build high performance cruising boat that can just as easily be built in strip plank foam.
