9 m [29.5'] diesel/fourstroke outboard power cat
The 'Tardis' is a diesel/fourstroke outboard driven displacement power boat that maximises accommodation. It has more interior space than would appear to be possible from the outside. The new 4-stroke petrol outboards are a viable alternative to the original diesel. Because it is a relatively slow speed craft it uses the typical sailing cat hull form rather than the high speed displacement power cat hull form. This hull form allows steering with only the single engine. Something that is not possible with our higher speed CS hull form.

The steerable centrally mounted single engine allows for full hull width boarding platforms on each hull thereby allowing easy access to the water.
An inflatable dinghy can be hung between the hulls without interfering with the engines operation.
