Taranaki
Taranaki:- 18.6 m [61'] ocean going sport fishing power cat
More displacement and a little more performance differentiates the 'Taranaki', which is also a game fishing boat, from the 'Mako 61' which was its direct predecessor. It is intended for timber construction but could of course also be built in foam and glass. The hull form is very similar to that of the Mako with just a little more draft, beam and of course load carrying. A bit more power gives it a slightly higher speed than the 'Mako'. The open flybridge version was built in foam and glass composite by CISL Marine of Trinidad and is currently offered for sale.
