Icebear:- 16.5 m [54'] long range trawler yacht
The 'Icebear' was designed as a "smaller" 'Wild Wind IV' [which was a 'New Yorker-51' with an extra 2m added to the hulls] to show that ocean going capability could be had in a smaller, and less expensive, Catamaran . 'Icebear' has less accommodation than the 'WildWind IV' but still manages to encompass two double cabins with ensuites. Twin helm stations and a very spatial upper deck make this a boat for all weathers in all parts of the world.
